Slam City Jam took place from August 25-27 Calgary is proud to host this event for the first time, located at Stampede Park! With more than 100 of the world’s top professional skaters pulling off extraordinary moves in an intimate setting, Slam City Jam is the North American Skateboard Championships and part of the World Cup of Skateboarding, with more than $100,000 USD up for grabs in prize money. The DC National Championships also took place at Slam City Jam!!!
Alderman Helene Larocque, as Deputy Mayor is thrilled to white hat Tony Hawk at the Slam City Jam Opening. Many of the contestants of Slam City will be warming up at Shaw Millennium Park, located in downtown Calgary. Alderman Helene Larocque, as Deputy Mayor is pleased to kick off the opening of Slam City Jam and bring greetings from the City of Calgary.
